Four cats mean four times the FUN!

Four Yats!

and cat hair, and litter boxes, and damaged furniture...

Spooky Yat!
Spooky is the youngest. We adopted her and Foxy from a woman in Westmoreland County who takes in stray cats since their Animal Shelter will only take dogs. She was so tiny as a kitten, but now eats like a pig so she's starting to resemble a cushion with legs. She also has the cutest, softest meow I've ever heard.
Yeller Yat!
Now Foxy is the charmer. Just a few months older than Spooky, but he's a large cat and extremely personable. He'll walk right up to a new person in the house, talking and angling for attention. Everyone who likes cats, loves Foxy! And he has an easy-going personality, which makes it hard discipline him, but earned him the handle "Mellow Yellow Fellow".
Heckle Freckle!
Heckle is a cat of extremes. She is sweet and gentle, but often goes overboard to obnoxious. She loves hunting, sometimes disappearing outside for 8 hours straight. But then she'll come inside and cuddle on your lap and not leave your side. We adopted her and her brother (Jeckle) from a neighbor in Rapidan, but he died unexpectedly at only 3 years old. She's definitely accepted Foxy as her boyfriend.
Barn Yat!
And Barn Cat, or Barnie. Her story is long! Mary was working at a horse barn, and the owner found a small stray cat in one of the sheds. So Mary hoofs it over, and calls "kitty-kitty"! And out comes this girl cat with deep green eyes and an awful wound on her lower back by the tail. Well, after a few minutes of petting, Mary scoops her up in her jacket, and the cat puts up no complaint. At the vet's office, they ask "what's her name?" To which Mary says, "It doesn't have a name. It's a barn cat." When she pays the bill, the nurse had written "Barn Cat" on the invoice. So what else could we call her?
