2005 Honda S2000 for Sale - Under 17,000 miles... $13,800!

I am selling one of my Honda S2000's. Yes, I currently have two! Both cars have "salvage - repaired" titles. I have bought and repaired 3 Honda S2000's thus far, so I guess I am a bit of an expert now. Each of them was wrecked and given a salvage designation because of accident damage (no flood!). And each made its way onto the internet via salvage dealers where I found them and bought them.

Basically, I enjoy repairing cars and this was a fun project. I'm not going to claim like a lot of salvage cars I see for sale, that somehow the insurance estimator made a mistake. This car was involved in an accident and needed a lot of work to fix correctly. Quite frankly, since it is just a hobby of mine, I can take my time and do the repairs right, (I am truly a perfectionist) as opposed to a commercial repair shop which has to maximize efficiency for profit. Anyway, it has been a way for me to satisfy my need for hands on distraction from the stress of a real job, and I've been able to afford and drive these cars on the cheap (for the most part!).

Please check out the VA DMV information on Salvage vehicles. Contrary to what many people say, you can finance the purchase of a Salvage vehicle and you can buy collision insurance as well. Check with the Credit Unions in your area with regard to financing and call your insurance agent to see if they will insure it. Additionally, you can buy a warranty for a salvage car if you wish. This car was hit in the passenger side and front. The majority of replacement parts used for the repair were brand new, Honda original equipment parts. Some of the parts were used, original Honda parts, such as the headlight assemblies and fenders and hood. By the way, the fenders and hood are from another S2000 that was Formula red. In fact, of the two fenders and hood, only the passenger side fender has been repainted. The structural body repairs were done by WagonWork Collision Center I in Northern Virginia. Check their website out. They specialize in BMW and Porsche. They have a $17,000 spot welder which they used for the welding necessary to repair the car. In some of the pictures of the rocker panel, you will see the spot welds - which look just like factory welds. Pretty cool. Since the repairs were completed, I have put 12,000 or so miles on this car with absolutely no problems. Chassis rigidity is same as new. There is little evidence that the car has been in an accident at all.

In summary, the car is really nice - not some rush job done by an inexperienced amateur. This car is waiting to make it's new owner happy - whether it is put into duty as fun track car or your daily driver.
